EASHL Improvements for NHL 11

Garreth Reeder, the Associate Producer for NHL 11, has published on his blog a long list of changes for the EA Sports Hockey League(EASHL). Here is a summary of the really big changes that have all virtual hockey players foaming at the mouth right now:

  • Division Playoffs at the end of the regular seasons
  • 3 separate divisions(Elite, Pro, and Amateur)
  • Banner raising for EASHL teams with championships, etc...
  • Practice mode (either full scrimmage or scenarios like 2-on-1s,etc...)
  • CUSTOM JERSEYS(finally...)
  • Better match-up functionality based on human/cpu goalie and club size

Overall, this has gotten me pretty psyched for NHL 11 and I can't wait to see all the glitches...I mean changes.
