How to Make a Candy Stripe - AudioSurf

A steam achievement sought by many for the game AudioSurf is the holiday achievement named Candy Stripe. The Candy Stripe achievement is simple, you must create a candy cane like chain of blocks in one column. Check the picture below to see the pattern, but it is just red-white-red-white-red. White blocks only appear in Medium or harder modes of AudioSurf, so keep that in mind when in the character select menu. I suggest using Pointman Pro as he can pick up the blocks with the left mouse button and then place the block with the right mouse button for easy collection of red and white blocks where they are needed. Another good choice is the Pusher, as using the left and right mouse buttons can push the blocks needed into the right order while protecting it when the wrong block colors are ahead of you.

So in summary:

  1. Choose a character in Medium or harder mode in AudioSurf
    1. Recommend either Pointman Pro or Pusher
  2. Create a chain of blocks in one column that goes red-white-red-white-red
