NHL 11 Controls for Dekes and Celebrations
My friend Frost from Elite Players Hub made a post in the forum about several of the deke moves in NHL 11. Here is the list he has compiled so far. I hope to get videos of all the dekes soon. Keep in mind that the controls below are from the perspective of a left-handed player:
Dekes - Left-hand (default)
- 7 o'clock to 6, LB + Down = Toe Drag
- 10 o'clock to 6 LB + Down = Behind the Skates
- LB + Down = Bure
- LB + Up = Jump
- LB + Left = Side Step defender
- LB + Right = Average deke around defender (Backhand)
One-Handers
- LB + Left = Drag
- LB + Right = Push puck around defender
Celebrations
- LT = Ride the Lightning
- LT + RS Spin = Ride & Fist Pump
- A = Slide (Belly)
- A (Standing) = Jump
- X = Slide (Knees)
- Y = Clean the Stick
- B = Knee Up
- RT = Down on One Knee
- RT + RS Up = Punch
- RT + RS Left = Arm Spin
- RT + RS Right = Punch
- RT + RS Down = Wipe the Ice
- RS Left = Arm Spin
- RS Right = Fist Pump
- RS Up = Point
- RS Down = Fist Cheer? lol
- LB = Hand & Stick Raise
- RB = One Arm Raise

To jump into the glass, all you do is get near the glass and point your left stick towards the glass and hit A.
The front stroke swim is simple. Hold LB or RB before hitting A away from the boards. Once your diving along the ice, just hit LB and RB right after each other and it will appear as if your player is swimming.
skate until you're close to the boards and and press A to jump into it.

Thanks for this, do you know how to do the jump into the glass celly? Or the front stroke swim?
