A steam achievement sought by many for the game AudioSurf is the holiday achievement named Candy Stripe. The Candy Stripe achievement is simple, you must create a candy cane like chain of blocks in one column. Check the picture below to see the pattern, but it is just red-white-red-white-red. White blocks only appear in Medium or harder modes of AudioSurf, so keep that in mind when in the character select menu.

AudioSurf makes a claim that the game lets you "Ride your music", and fortunately it actually backs it up. An indie game released in 2008, AudioSurf has made a resurgence in the indie market due to being available on Steam at a low price of $9.99. Very simple in concept, it allows you to take your music file and create a custom track designed via an algorithm analyzing your music track. AudioSurf supports these music file formats:

• OGG

With its emergence on Steam, you can now keep score with your friends in addition to global and regional scoreboards for the individual tracks. With the large selection of characters, each having their own traits, there is even replayabilty for the same music tracks, competing with friends using each of the characters and finding which one is best for you.
